VEIL OF MAYA threw away most of the album they recorded in 2019

Veil of maya spent a lot of time in 2019 recording a new album and has since released four standalone singles. Guitarist Marc Okubo has now revealed that the new album is finished, but it has mostly been trashed because of “the actions of some individuals”. When a fan asks if any of the new singles (like “Outrun” this week) are from the record Veil of maya working at the moment, Okubo said it was “a bit of both”.

“We did a new album in 2019. Due to the actions of some people it left us with a bad taste in our mouths and we didn’t think it was worth getting it back. We deleted the majority of it and recorded material that we are more satisfied with. Now we are on tour.
