The 27-year-old from Gurugram got married to handsome Aman Kalra at Khimsar Fort in Rajasthan in December 2021. In a video of the wedding, which went viral on social media, Suvanya was seen wearing a veil which had the words “from my heart to you,” taken from his late father’s letter.

Suvanya’s father was in the Indian Army. She also chose her wedding date – December 13 – to honor her father’s memory since the date was his day of commission in the military. The letter she chose was given by her father as a birthday present in 2020.
“He wrote the same letter three times using different inks because he didn’t know which one I would prefer,” she said. Indian Express. The newlywed added that her father became emotional when he saw that she had had the letter framed.
Suvanya’s wedding dress, designed by Sunaina Khera, also came as a surprise to her family members, as none of them knew about her thoughtful gesture. The 27-year-old added that her father’s death was still hard for her family to talk about, saying she hadn’t had the courage to read his full letter again since his death.
However, by embroidering some of her words on her wedding veil, Suvanya felt that her father always made his presence felt.
