March 14, 2022 Rainbow Six Siege: Demon Veil release time has finally been confirmed.
Last month, Ubisoft revealed the next chapter for Rainbow Six Siege and confirmed that Year 7 Season 1 of the FPS game will be Demon Veil. Now – after heaps of conflicting announcements – Ubisoft has finally confirmed exactly when we’ll be able to play it.
The new season will introduce the newest operator in the multiplayer game, Azami, who can throw kunai blades and even repair holes and breaches. Ubisoft previously revealed Siege’s Year 7 roadmap, but didn’t specify Demon Veil’s exact release date at the time.
If you’ve been confused by this, you’re not alone. A few store pages suggested that Demon Veil would launch this week. Whoever picked up the 7 Year Premium Pass would have noticed that the “special exotic weapon skin for the MPX” was unlocked this Tuesday, March 8th. Buried in a recent press releaseUbisoft has quietly noted that Rainbow Six Siege’s Demon Veil season does indeed “launch March 8” – and the new season’s page on Xbox consoles even provides a release time, albeit a slightly different date.
Obviously, Demon Veil didn’t launch on any of those dates, and Ubisoft finally gave the latest information.
