Priyanka Chopra wears 75-foot bridal veil in decadent wedding ceremony

Priyanka Chopra wore an incredibly long veil during the penultimate event of her wedding ceremonies week.

She and Nick Jonas tied the knot for a week in Mumbai, which featured various rituals before the Hindu ceremony and a Christian ceremony presided over by Nick’s father before heading to Delhi for a grand reception.

But one of the most notable pieces of clothing worn throughout the week was her 75-foot veil, which she sported alongside a dazzling Ralph Lauren dress.

Nick’s father, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr, officiated the ceremony, for which Priyanka wore a Ralph Lauren dress covered in Swarovski crystals, mother of pearl and crystal seed with the tulle veil.

Nick wore the same designer as he wore a black double-breasted tuxedo with a purple lapel, to which was sewn a lace from the bride’s dress with the Urdu words “my jaan”, meaning “my life”.

Before that, after some fun receptions in Mumbai, the group flew to Jodhpur, and Priyanka did some last-minute fittings at the JW Marriott hotel ahead of the wedding ceremony, with designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee landing shortly after. the happy couple, sparking speculation that they may have designed clothes.

At Umaid Phawan Palace on Friday, both sides of the families performed songs and dances for the couple in the Sangeet, in an incredible performance that lit up the whole area, although Priyanka joked that it was of “fierce competition” for families.

Next was mehendi, the application of henna before marriage, and Priyanka shared her happiness about it, saying, “One of the most special things our relationship has given us is the amalgamation of families that have come together. love and respect each other’s beliefs and cultures.

“And so planning our wedding with a fusion of the two was so amazing.”

She added that they “made it our own” and both dreamed of launching their celebrations the way they did.

Nick wore a plain beige Indian costume while Priyanka amazed the group with a brightly colored dress, and Sophie wore a black and gold saree.

The pair ended the ceremonial part with a Hindu ceremony, for which Priyanka wore a red lehenga, designed by Mukherji, who had a 16k oval diamond Chopard helmet and carat diamonds set in white gold for the necklace.
