Lacey Chabert and Crown Media Family Networks have agreed to an exclusive multi-picture global deal. The deal allows Chabert to headline and produce movies and other content for the Hallmark Channel and other Hallmark platforms over the next two years.
The company announced the deal on Monday.
“Lacey’s warmth, talent, relatability and creative sensibilities have endeared her to millions of Hallmark viewers for over a decade, making her one of our most requested stars,” said Lisa Hamilton Daly, executive vice president of programming at Crown Media Family Networks. in a report. “In addition to shining on screen, Lacey is a prolific creative partner behind the scenes, developing and executing production on many of our most beloved and highest quality projects. She understands and intrinsically embodies what our networks are all about. – the transformative power of love and making people feel good – and we look forward to continuing our work with her to create heartfelt and compelling stories that will entertain, inspire and touch our audiences.
Chabert has become a mainstay at Crown Media over the past few years, starring in several original Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries productions. More recently, Chabert served in a triple role on the “Wedding Veil” film trilogy, as developer, executive producer and star. The series’ first installment premiered in January, becoming the second most-watched non-holiday movie by audiences over 18 in network history. The second and third installments debuted earlier in February.
