Innocent victims of Robb Elementary School shooting have been identified
The world mourns the loss of 19 students and two adults whose lives were stolen for no reason in Uvalde, Texas.
Uvalde is just west of San Antonio and east of the US-Mexico border.
Robb Elementary has students in grades 2 through 4, with 535 students during the school year.
90% of students are Hispanic and 81% come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
On May 24, 20-22, 18-year-old Salvador Ramos opened fire on campus, killing 19 children and two adults.
The entire country is in mourning, as people around the world try to come to terms with this senseless act of terror.
President Joe Biden will travel to the community with his wife, Jill, to meet with grieving families as the identities of some of the victims become known.
Ouziyah Garcia
Uziyah Garcia was eight years old. His grandfather said he was the nicest little boy he had ever known, a fast little boy, who could catch a ball “so well”.
Xavier Lopez
Xavier Lopez was ten years old. His cousin calls him a loving little boy, just enjoying life, not knowing this tragedy was about to happen, bubbly and loving dancing with his brothers and mother.

Amerie Jo Garza
Her father told the world that his “baby girl” had just turned 10 on May 10.
He says his daughter is now flying high with the angels above, with a message to not take a minute for granted, “hug your family and tell them you love them”.

Jose Flores
Jose was 10 years old.
Remembers a “happy little boy” who loved his parents, loved his brothers and loved his life.

Mackenna Lee Elrod
Mackenna’s sister says the 10-year-old was also one of the students killed.
She writes “my heart will forever break for you my love, I love you with all my heart, have fun with your angels in heaven”.

These are just some of the stories and casualties as the veil is gradually lifted and the world gets a glimpse of the lives that have been taken and the livelihoods that have been destroyed.
