Dance Gavin Dance recently announced singer Tilian Pearson would be withdrawing from the band (for a currently unknown period) after recent allegations of sexual misconduct, and the band have been dropped from their upcoming tour with Coheed and Cambria. Dance Gavin Dance has now announced an Evening With style tour for this month of July with an ex-singer Kurt Travis and current guitarist Andrew Wells manage voice tasks. To fill well‘ place will be Veil of Maya guitarist Marc Okubo.
“We are very pleased to announce our exciting and intimate headlining tour, ‘An Evening With Friends’,” the drummer said. Matt Mingus.
“Last month, unfortunately, and not by our choice, we were informed that we could not participate in the summer tour that we had been looking forward to for a year. We were lucky to obtain the support of our partners for help organize a last minute tour in most of the cities where we had already planned to perform.
“This is yet another hurdle put in our way that we want to and can overcome. While change can sometimes be difficult to adapt to, we are optimistic and look to the future with our heads held high and a fantastic new album to celebrate. . We look forward to seeing you this summer.”
