“My childhood dream has always been to beat the Guinness World Records title for the longest wedding veil,” GWR quoted bride Maria as saying.

To create the veil, Maria purchased 7,100 m (23,294 ft) of rolls of tulle with a width of 1.8 m (5.9 ft). According to the GWR, a company in Greece took 3 months to create and deliver the rolls of tulle to the city of Maria, Larnaca. Professional tailors have assembled all the pieces by hand to create the complete bridal veil.
